BRL-Light racing league
The BRL-Light forms together with the BRL-V6 a racing league, with a starting grid of approx. 40 cars. The BRL-V6 is the ‘big brother’ of the BRL-Light, driven by a 325 hp strong Ford 4.0 litre V6 engine. Both championships form the most competitive and loved racing league of the Netherlands. Which results in a lot of publicity, not only in newspapers, magazines and at the Internet but as well on television. A lot of races of the BRL will be broadcasted in summary in the supporting program of the direct Formula 1 broadcast at Dutch national television RTL7.
Every BRL-Light is technically identical, made possible by sealing the engine and gearbox. Thanks to the pipe frame and rear-wheel drive, the BRL-Light drives like a big formula racing car. This guarantees exciting races. The best drivers make the best chances on scoring a podium finish! With a lap time of 1:54 at Circuit Park Zandvoort the BRL-Light is one of the fastest racing championships of the Netherlands.
